Founded 2012. Built to grow the right way.
Per-Olof Hulthe founded POJI AB in 2012 with a clear purpose: to work on his own terms, without being constrained by others' decisions. The ambition was never to build a large company. The idea was a freelance existence in mechanical engineering, without middle managers and without compromise on technical work. Since then, much has changed.
From mechanical engineering to a broader offering
Around 2016, POJI put a foot into industrial construction. It opened a new market and a new need for expertise. More calculation engineers and structural engineers joined, and the business grew organically, driven by customer needs rather than a plan. Today, POJI works with structural verification in both mechanical engineering and industrial construction, with assignments ranging from lifting equipment and pressure vessels to prefabricated building systems in timber and lightweight steel.
Our own tools for better analysis
The continuous work of improving and streamlining calculation processes eventually led to the development of our own platform: VERIDA. That work laid the foundation for a third business area in software development, where automation of structural calculations and parametric FEM workflows is at the centre. VERIDA is today a separate sister company to POJI, and the two businesses develop side by side. Read more at verida.se.
The next chapter
In 2026, Marina Olsson took over as CEO with the assignment of ensuring that POJI continues to grow the right way. The focus is on sustainability in both finances and organisation, preserving the culture that has been built since the beginning, and nurturing the employees and client relationships that are the core of the company.
