New CEO at POJI

Per-Olof Hulthe has stepped down as CEO of POJI, passing the role to Marina Olsson. Hulthe transitions to Chief Technical Officer while continuing to develop sister company Verida.

Hulthe founded POJI in 2012 with intentions to freelance in mechanical engineering. The company grew unexpectedly and he accumulated management responsibilities he found less fulfilling than technical work.

Children changed his view of work

Per-Olof prefers technology over tracking KPIs. When he became a father five years ago, his perspective on work began to shift.

"I want POJI to keep developing, but also spend more time with my family and be part of the children's upbringing. At the same time we have sister company Verida that I want to develop. All in all it requires me to divide my focus more than I can manage," says Per-Olof.

Growth requires real leadership

He believes running a ten-person company on gut feeling has worked fine so far.

"But to grow further we need a CEO who can work with leadership properly. And Marina has exactly the right experience. We have all been looking forward to when she starts."

Extensive experience in leadership roles in industry

Marina Olsson holds an engineering degree from Chalmers and has extensive experience in leadership roles in industry. After several years as regional manager at Technogarden she made a detour into the IT sector as a project manager at Elvenite in Karlstad, where she learned about business intelligence and data-driven decisions.

"For me this role is a perfect combination of technology, leadership, business and the consulting world, and I think I will thrive and develop here for many years," says Marina.

According to Per-Olof, Marina's most important mission as CEO now is to continue developing the company in a positive direction.

"People should thrive, we should be profitable and have satisfied customers. I have full confidence that Marina will create healthy growth."

For Marina it is obvious where she should begin.

"My focus now is to listen and learn. I need to start walking the road before I can map it out. At the same time I soon need to start delivering. And then it will certainly be about marketing and sales," Marina concludes.
